Stock Market Will Have a Good Year

The S&P 500 reveals a golden cross indicating a very good year ahead for the stock market. A Golden Cross happens when the 50 Day moving Average crosses above the 200 Day Moving Average. This usually results in better returns over the next 12  months for the S&P 500. A golden cross occured in June 2009 and was followed with a 14% return for the S&P 500. Notice the Golden Cross in this chart that occured on February 1, 2012.

    Last year the S&P 500 had a Golden Cross and Returned 13%. Now the rally this year continues this year.
